All of you probably have heard, research shows that students become more engaged when you introduce a game into their learning. Educational games allow students to retain 70-80% of what they are learning. So, we took it one step further. Now teachers may receive real-time data as to their students’ progress while they are playing games. Here, we assist you to answer the age-old question, “is my student learning”. We provide the data to help in this understanding.

Time Quest (version 1.2)
Have you ever wondered how events in history happened? What came first the chicken or the Battle of Lexington? Well, this is the game to straighten your understanding of how history happened and finding out why things happened the way they did, all by playing a game. Give her a spin and see how good you are at lining up history.

Lightning Round (beta testing, release set for 11-1-22)
Do you or your students ever feel anxiety when having to take a test? Are tests just boring to you? Do they seem like an unfair representation of what you or your student knows. Well try a test in game form and your mind may change on taking tests, forever. This game doesn’t just test your know, like the game of Jeopardy, but rewards you by getting the answers correct and beating your opponent. With those coins you can make in-app purchases from your opponents.

HISTORICAL CONQUEST: DIGITAL

UPDATE (10-18-2022): Historical Conquest: The Digital Version is about to be re-released after many updates. The game has changed dramatically and all for the better.

Historical Conquest looks like Pokemon, plays like Risk, but all cards are history based. We have sold over 35,000 copies of this physical card game, now it’s digitized. Each student, given access to HuntThePast.com, will receive a free Starter deck. Additional decks may be earned at their teacher’s disgression. All cards are linked to it’s corresponding history unit for additional research.

iCivics

Update (10-18-2022): We need 10,000 subscribers to add this game to our system and can reach it with your help. 

iCivics, Inc. (formerly Our Courts) is video game that teaches civics to students around the United States. iCivics was founded in 2009 by retired Supreme Court of the United States Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. It’s mission is to “ensure every student receives a high-quality civic education, and becomes engaged in – and beyond – the classroom.”

Spies of the American Revolution

Students play as Deb, who arrives in New York City in April 1775 to start an apprenticeship with the tailor Hercules Mulligan. Players use Deb’s tailoring skills to help her disguise herself as a man to learn secrets.

Players begin to find newspaper stories about the battle at Lexington and Concord, Washington’s appointment as Commander in Chief of the Continental Army, and the battle at Bunker Hill.

The Lost Colony of Roanoke

Players experience a Native perspective of encounters with Europeans. Set in present-day North Carolina on the eve of the arrival of the English, players follow two friends, Manteo and Wanchese, respectively of the Croatoan and Roanoke tribes as they first encounter British settlers.

Salem Plague of Witchcraft

Your goal is to contain the social contagion of witchcraft, through employing skepticism to stop the societal panic. In doing so, students learn how to survive a societal panic, using strategic thinking, patience, and a strong moral compass.

California Gold Rush

Players play as Wilson Derby, who is encouraged by Major John Fremont to remain in California after the Mexican-American War, as something big is about to happen. Players help to build a mill for Johann Sutter and discover a nugget of gold in the process. Players then launch their own businesses to cater to the needs of miners.

Road to Revolution

Players are transported to the Green Dragon Tavern in Boston in 1763 as the Seven Years’ War is drawing to an end. Playing as Harriet, the tavern owner, players will recruit new customers including Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Abigail Adams.

Harriet learns through discussions in the tavern, that issues of taxation are beginning to arise, which will ultimately lead the colonists to war with England.
